Harmonia Ensemble Debut @ PLQ Plaza
Harmonia made its very first public appearance at PLQ Plaza, marking a special milestone in our journey as Singapore’s newest community wind group. The concert opened with music from Disney’s Mulan, setting an uplifting and familiar tone that immediately connected with the audience. Despite being a young ensemble, our performance brought energy, warmth, and a shared sense of celebration to the heart of the city.

Harmonia Ensemble’s debut at PLQ Plaza on September 17 2024 was as unforgettable as it was meaningful. Though a sudden cloudburst halted our performance, it only drew us closer together as a group. What could have been a setback instead became a moment of unity and resilience — a memory that will always mark the beginning of our journey.

On 1 December 2025, Harmonia Ensemble launched the festive season with a joyful open-air concert at PLQ Square, bathing Paya Lebar in Christmas cheer! Our intergenerational not-for-profit wind band enchanted passersby with classics like Jingle Bells, Deck the Halls, and Joy to the World — sparking smiles, laughter, and sing-alongs.
Amid twinkling lights, roasted chestnuts, and families in festive reds and greens, we delivered more than music: togetherness, wonder, and the true Christmas spirit. “The best gift? Strangers becoming friends over a shared carol.”
